Grant Information:

The SVY Grant aims to enhance and provide equal access to education around the Bay Area. Recognizing that high school is a formative and explorative time, SVY is dedicated to enhancing educational access and fostering educational outreach.

By bolstering programs dedicated to providing educational opportunities beyond school, we aim to help students and communities thrive across the Bay Area. All student-led programs related to developing education and access to opportunities are open to consideration. Funding is subject to SVY Grant Committee approval.

Grant Eligibility:

Anybody can apply as long as they meet the following conditions:

The project must be able to demonstrate a concrete positive impact on the community in alignment with SVY's mission statement.

The sponsored project must be completed within a year. Within 30 days of completion, SVY must receive a project overview featuring key milestones, a general synopsis, and feedback.

The applicant's own academic agenda does not conflict with regular and dedicated work on their project.

The applicant's parents/guardians consent to this pursuit.

The applicant is a current high school student.

The applicant is not a current SVY teacher or TA.
